12 12 Gallery specializes in Fine Art Photography and Contemporary Art and represents emerging local and national artists through solo and group exhibitions. 12 12 Gallery features work by local and national artists in three unique gallery settings, launched every 6 weeks.
Each year 12 12 Gallery hosts three national juried art and photography exhibitions: the Manchester Fine Arts Exhibition, the Exhibition for the Arts and the National Photography Exhibition. Fine art photographers and artists from all over the country compete for cash prizes and awards. Past jurors for these exhibitions have included Stephen Perloff, founder and editor of The Photo Review; Jeff Harrison, Chief Curator, Chrysler Museum of Art, Norfolk, Virginia; Lee Hansley of Lee Hansley Gallery, Raleigh, North Carolina; and Brian Clamp owner and founder of ClampArt in New York, New York.
Co-founded and owned by Martin McFadden and Lynn Limon, 12 12 Gallery was established to provide a gallery where emerging artists could exhibit work and gain some exposure without large gallery fees and red tape. Says Martin about the gallery, "It's about supporting the emerging artist because I'm an emerging artist."
Our Photographers and Artists-In-Residence include: Charles Philip Brooks, Marti Fann, Mike Keeling, Lisa Neher, Alison Overton, Krishanna Spencer and Inge Strack.
