Each year 12 12 Gallery hosts two international juried works on paper and photography exhibitions: the International Juried Exhibition of Works on Paper and the International Juried Photography Exhibition. Fine art photographers and artists from around the world compete for cash prizes and awards. Past jurors for these exhibitions have included Stephen Perloff, founder and editor of The Photo Review; Brian Clamp, Director, ClampArt, New York; Carol McCusker, Director, Museum of Modern Photography, San Diego, California; Julian Cox, Curator of Photography, High Museum, Atlanta, Georgia; Patrick Amsellem, Curator of Photography, Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn, New York; Dan Weldon, Director, Hampton Editions Limited, Sag Harbor, New York.
Co-founded and owned by Martin McFadden, LRPS and Lynn Limon, 12 12 Gallery was established to provide a gallery where emerging artists could exhibit work and gain some exposure without large gallery fees and red tape. Says Martin about the gallery, "It's about supporting the emerging artist because I'm an emerging artist."
