The Upstream People Gallery presents an exhibition with
12 month's gallery representation, August 1, 2009 through July 31, 2010, with
approximately 900,000 hits each month. Open to all artists worldwide. Original
works except film and video, including collage, digital and all mixed media. All
artworks including alternative media, paintings, sculpture, prints, drawing,
photographs, papier colle, assemblage, installation, digital manipulation,
ceramics, fiber and any other.
Cash Awards of Excellence and Special
Recognitions will be given at the juror's discretion; the amounts and number of
which is determined by the entries and their quality. Specially recognized
artists will be reviewed in the juror's statement published worldwide and sent
in a press release to the artist's local newspaper(s).
Artists get a
dicounted entry fee if submitted by our early deadline of July 8, 2009. The
final deadline is July 24, 2009.

Broadcasting art globally, promoting extensively,
United Creators creates the most innovative and comprehensive competition in the
Art World today. United Creators dedicates itself to providing the most
extensive visibility to most competition entrants. The United Creators
competition is open to anyone 18 years of age or older, from any country.
Contestants will be judged against other contestants in each
category.
Every week 12 artists will be chosen (two from each category:
Painting, Sculpture, Mixed Media, Photography, Drawing, and Video Art) to be
digitally broadcasted and showcased during one week at exclusive and high
profile showrooms of our partner: Bang & Olufsen in New York (USA), Istanbul
(Turkey) and Frankfurt (Germany).
Winning artists chosen by prominent
judges will receive One-month digital exhibitions at three international cities
with the top winning video artist to be presented in November as part of [PAM]
installation at The State Hermitage Museum during the Cyland Cyber Festival in
St. Petersburg, Russia.
The theme of this exhibition is Zeitgeist-
literally ‘about time’ and the spirit of our 'creative now.' It is an
exploration of the marriage of art and technology, creative networks and
communication.

| Studio Visit - Spring 2010 Edition -

All Regions, All Mediums. Studio Visit, now introducing
its fifth competition, is a nationally focused publication that presents all
two- and three-dimensional work. Each volume includes approx. 150 artists. Each
selected artist will be provided with one full page that will include a full
color image, contact information and a brief artist statement. The publication
is juried by a professional curator and produced to the highest quality
standards and can be used as a valuable promotional tool. Juror: Steven Zevitas,
Publisher, New American Paintings.
Once published, Studio Visit is mailed
to 2,000 of the nation's top galleries and curators and a growing subscriber
base. Additionally, participating artists will receive a complimentary issue of
the publication, and they will be able to purchase additional copies at a
discount to send to galleries, collectors, friends and family.
The
competition is free to enter, however, artists will be responsible for a $225
production/distribution fee if selected.

Still Point Art Gallery invites submissions from
emerging and established artists for its upcoming exhibition: Autumnal Tints.
This exhibition is not solely about a time of year. This exhibition is about
color, the plush, sometimes fiery, sometimes soothing and subtle, colors of
autumn. We invite any style of art, representational or abstract, that explores,
plays, or communicates with the color or tints of autumn. Open to artists 18
years of age or older living in the United States who submit original artwork in
any medium except video and wearable art.

RichRicheson School of Art & Gallery, a division of
Jack Richeson & Co., Inc., is proud to announce the Richeson 75 Landscape,
Seascape & Architectural Competition. Seventy-five two-dimensional works of
art and several alternates will be selected to represent the finest examples of
painting and drawing being produced by today’s visual artists. The following
prizes will be awarded:
Best In Show - $3,000. First Place in each
category will receive a $1000 certificate for art materials from Jack Richeson
& Co., Inc. Second Place Award in each category will receive a $500
certificate for art materials from Jack Richeson & Co., Inc. 75 Finalists
and a number of alternates will be selected and invited to participate in the
exhibit at the Richeson Gallery in Kimberly, Wisconsin from July 31-September
25, 2009.
The Richeson 75: Landscape, Seascape & Architectural
Competition is open to all artists over age 18. All work entered must be
original in concept/execution and have been created since January 1, 2007. 2-D
Art in the following categories is eligible: Oils, Oil Pastel/Paintstiks;
Pastels & Drawing/Dry Media and Water Media/Other (Printmaking, Mixed Media
etc.). No photography, electronic/computer generated art or 3-D.

On Angels Magazine Art & Literary Contest 2009 is
open to several mediums of art and literature. There are six categories of art;
Painting, Computer Graphic Art, Sculpting, Drawing, Mixed Media and Photography.
There are three categories of literature; Fictional Short Stories, Non-Fictional
Short Stories and Poetry. All entries MUST have an ANGEL theme. Religion will
not play a part in any of the judging.
The winning entries and artist's /
writer's profiles will be published in our premier magazine and online. Artists
and Writers retain all copyrights and artwork. First Prize (US) $3000 in each
category - Second Prize (US) $1500 in each category - Third Prize (US) $500 in
each category - Honorable Mention (US) $200 in each category.

The Smithtown Township Arts Council is seeking works
ranging from the macabre to whimsical for Halloween Midnight Oils exhibition, to
be held Oct. 9-Nov. 1, 2009. Juror Alain Khadem is interested in works that
portray frightening subject matters in a philosophic, romantic, or humorous
light. He is also considering works that embody literal, figurative or
metaphorical interpretations of the idiomatic expression "The Devil is in the
Details." Open to all media. Entry deadline: Aug. 28, 2009. Early entry is

Art Buzz, The 2010 Collection, is now accepting entries
for inclusion into the premier visual arts showcase, hardcover publication. The
juried competition is open to visual artists, worldwide, who work in any visual
art media (must be 18 or older). Art Buzz, the book, is a full color, square
format, hardcover "coffee table" type publication that is scheduled for release
in late January 2010, with a vigorous distribution and marketing plan. The pages
of Art Buzz, The 2010 Collection, are open to all high quality, emerging and
mid-career visual artists including artists that have yet to venture out for
public scrutiny. Art Buzz, founder, artist Tony Blue, knows how important
EXPOSURE is and all serious visual artists are encouraged to enter the juried
