The Blues Brothers will be playing in the Scoot Richmond parking lot under the stars. Bring a blankie, lawn chairs, or just recline on your scooter or motorcycle. If you come on 4 wheels, just park on the street or around back of the building. Movie starts at 9pm.
Scoot Richmond is also hosting an art exhibition by Linda Bronski called "As I Am". Thanks so much to Crossroads Art Center, provider of art for our showroom.

Fall Season Begins At 12 12

 

Marti Fann and Alison   Overton Open Fall Season at 12 12 Gallery Starting August 24th      Local watermedia artist Marti Fann and Raleigh's photographer   Alison Overton open 12 12 Gallery's 2008 - 2009 season.  The   exhibition starts Sunday, August 24th, with an artists' reception that   afternoon from 2-5 pm.   The show runs through Sunday,  September 28th.

 

 

Cityscape                                                               Marti Fann Marti Fann's 'Esoteric Illusions' , a new collection of   Watermedia on canvas, is presented in Gallery West.      It is "my passion to paint what I see and feel   inside, to reveal a little of life in my colorful paintings. The contrasts of the colors mirror the contrasts of our lives and relationships."

 

 

Bountiful Sky                                                   AlisonOverton     Gallery East hosts Alison Overton's  'Forest of   Trees', a group of hand-tinted photographs.  Overton is known   for her photographs that chronicle moments in the changing   landscape.  She is passionate about exploring and expanding her   definition of the unique and mysterious in life and nature.   " 'Forest of Trees' is my photographic story of a family of   trees - oak trees which are living out their silent, peaceful lives on land   owned by members of my own family."
